opposites is the key to unlocking paradoxes. Transcending duality

Rewire Your Instincts
How
do you become a person who will always do the right thing, naturally
and automatically? Lama Marut offers us a way to "model perfection" by
impersonating people we've elevated to saint-like status. A truly
religious person lives a spiritual life which is not intended to get
something but rather to end something: to put an end to the way the
mind screws stuff up.

"Living the Perfect Life, Here and Now" given at the Mahasukha Center

Being and Becoming the Goal
Lama
Marut helps us see how to realize the goal by being the goal. As he
often says, if we want to live a happy life then practice happiness. If
we're interested in achieving the enlightened state then pretend to be
an enlightened being, and, as we do, little by little we convince
ourselves we are. The means and the ends become the same.

podcast was taken from a no holds barred teaching on "Living the
Perfect Life, Here and Now" given at the Mahasukha Center, Los Angeles, CA on November 3 & 4, 2009.
